2011 Acura TSX Sedan - 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show

Some people hate it, others don't mind it, but we've never talked with anyone who absolutely loves the Acura TSX's shiny beak.
That's why, if you walk slowly enough through the Acura section at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show, you might notice an Acura TSX that's had a little work done.

Acura designers have reworked and reduced the TSX's grille for 2011, finishing off the makeover with a new fascia, revised chin spoiler and updated taillight lenses. Inside, the entry Acura features a revised center console, rear seat vents, updated trim pieces and an added helping of quiet, thanks to a new acoustic front windshield, thicker side windows and more sound-deadening insulation.

In addition, while the 2011 Acura TSX engine lineup comprises the same 2.4-liter four-cylinder and 3.5-liter V6 engines as last year, Acura says it's reduced internal operating friction in both to squeeze out an extra mile per gallon in EPA city and highway figures across the board. That gives the four-cylinder automatic version a highway rating of 31 miles per gallon. Not shabby.

The 2011 Acura TSX is arriving at dealerships now with pricing that's unchanged from 2010: the four-cylinder TSX starts at $29,610 and the V6 TSX starts at $32,710.
With reasonable sticker prices, high feature content, good fuel economy and excellent resale values, we think the Acura TSX is among the smartest premium purchases you can make.
