Another Makeover From Acura (2010 Acura RDX)

Is it just me or Acura’s actually having a mid-life crisis?  In 2010, Acura RDX will receive its very first total makeover.  Exterior changes include redesigned 18-inch diameter aluminum-alloy wheels, bold new front and rear bumper fascias, Acura’s signature design front grille, revised headlights and taillights, new exhaust tips and satin trim accents.

If you think that’s all of it, read this: RDX latest interior features includes a rear view camera system, electronic compass, a pull handle to 

make closing the rear hatch easier,  

auto-function headlights, ambient footwell lighting, a center console storage tray, improved cup holders, USB-port connectivity, and Note function for XM Radio.

According to Jeff Conrad, vice president of Acura sales, “The RDX has always offered a unique mix of great performance, good utility, lots customer relevant technology and sharp looks- but for 2010 these attributes get even better”.  Furthermore, he says that “The availability of a new 2WD model with improved fuel economy and a lower price make the 2010 RDX a smart choice.”

The RDX is outfitted with a turbocharged 2.3-liter DOHC 16-valve inline four-cylinder engine integrating computer-controlled “intelligent” i-VTEC intake/exhaust valve actuation that delivers enhanced performance across a broad powerband.

Standard to all Acura models, the 2010 RDX is covered by a comprehensive 4-year/50,000 mile bumper-to-bumper limited warranty and a 6-year/70,000 miles powertrain limited warranty.
