2011 Jeep Liberty

 Front Angle View

Vehicle Highlights

The 2011 Jeep Liberty is largely unchanged. Liberty shares its basic design with the Dodge Nitro. It reprises base Sport, off-road-oriented Renegade, and top-line Limited trim levels. All use a 210-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 with a 4-speed automatic transmission.
Standard is Chrysler's Interactive Decel Fuel Shut Off, which is designed to save fuel by shutting off the gasoline supply during deceleration. Maximum towing capacity is 5,000 pounds. Sport and Limited offer rear-wheel drive or Jeep's Command-Trac II part-time 4-wheel drive that should not be left engaged on dry pavement. Optional on the 4WD Sport and Limited and standard on the Renegade is Jeep's Selec-Trac II 4WD, which can be left engaged on dry pavement. Both include low-range gearing for off-road use. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, an antiskid system, and curtain-side airbags. Renegade versions have specific exterior trim, wheels, and tires. Limited versions have leather upholstery and heated front seats. Available is Chrysler's Uconnect multimedia suite, which can include a 30-gigabyte hard drive for storing digital media and picture files, a wireless cell-phone link, and a navigation system with real-time traffic updates. Optional on all models is Sky Slider, a power retractable canvas roof.

Pricing Key: Retail prices listed with each report are set by the vehicle's manufacturer. These figures appear on each car's federally mandated window sticker. Most price lists also include dealer-invoice prices. Dealer-invoice prices are what the dealer pays the manufacturer for the car and its factory-installed options. The destination charge is not included in the suggested-retail or dealer-invoice price and must be added to the cost of the vehicle. Car companies change prices frequently throughout the year. If the prices published do not match those on the vehicle's window sticker, the manufacturer has probably altered the price recently.
