Vehicle Highlights

The 2011 Cadillac Escalade is largely unchanged. This premium-large SUV is basically an upscale version of the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. Like its Chevrolet and GMC cousins, this Cadillac comes as a conventional model as well
as a gas/electric hybrid. It's available as a wagon with a standard wheelbase or the long-wheelbase ESV. The Escalade EXT is a crew-cab pickup truck that's similar in design to the Chevrolet Avalanche. EXTs have a folding "midgate" separating the cab from the cargo bed. All non-hybrid Escalades come come in Base, Luxury, and Premium trim levels. Conventional standard-wheelbase wagons, hybrids, and ESVs also come as the top-end Platinum trim. Standard-length and ESV wagons seat 7 in a 2-2-3 layout, or they seat 8 with an optional 3-person 2nd-row bench seat. Wagons are available with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. EXTs are AWD only. All non-hybrid models have a 403-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission. This engine can run on gasoline or E85 ethanol-blended fuel and comes with GM's Active Fuel Management cylinder deactivation. Maximum towing capacity is 8,300 pounds.

Pricing Key: Retail prices listed with each report are set by the vehicle's manufacturer. These figures appear on each car's federally mandated window sticker. Most price lists also include dealer-invoice prices. Dealer-invoice prices are what the dealer pays the manufacturer for the car and its factory-installed options. The destination charge is not included in the suggested-retail or dealer-invoice price and must be added to the cost of the vehicle. Car companies change prices frequently throughout the year. If the prices published do not match those on the vehicle's window sticker, the manufacturer has probably altered the price recently.
