    The 2011 Audi Q7 gets new gasoline powertrains and a new transmission for its diesel model. Audi's large SUV seats 7 and comes with the company's quattro all-wheel drive. The V6-powered 3.6 Premium and V8-powered 4.2 Prestige trim levels have been
    discontinued. They are replaced by the new 3.0T Premium and 3.0T S line Prestige, each powered by a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine. The 3.0T has 272 horsepower, and the S line has 333. The Q7 3.0 TDI Premium has a 225-horsepower 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6. All 2011 Q7 engines now pair with an 8-speed automatic transmission, which replaces the previous models' 6-speed. Maximum towing capacity is 6,600 pounds. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, front-side airbags, 2nd-row side airbags, and curtain-side airbags. A driver-adjustable suspension with height control and adaptive cruise control are available. Audi's Multi-Media Interface (MMI) system is available with a navigation system that includes real-time traffic information. It uses a dashboard screen and a console knob and switches to set audio, navigation, suspension, and many other functions. Available features include rear-obstacle detection, keyless access/engine start, adaptive cruise control, and a three-panel sunroof.
